Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Mavaro when you order printing through this site. Plain language, and short enough to actually read.

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you're ordering for a company, you confirm you're allowed to agree on its behalf.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You're responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that's being used for fraud, or to upload material we're not willing to print.

Your artwork stays yours

You keep every right in the designs and images you upload. We don't claim ownership of them, and we don't use them for anything except producing your order — including not putting them in our portfolio unless you tell us we can.

You give us only the permission we need to do the job: to store your files, show them back to you, and print them.

What you're responsible for

You confirm you have the right to print what you send us. If your design uses someone else's logo, photograph, or trademark, that's between you and them — we can't check it and we rely on you.

We won't print material that's illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights, and we may refuse or cancel any order on those grounds. If we cancel for that reason before printing, you get a full refund.

Approval and printing

The editor shows you a proof — the exact file that goes to press, at full size, with a warning on any image too low-resolution to hold up. Placing your order is your approval of that file. Nothing is printed until you approve it.

Payment is taken when you place the order. Once a job enters production it can't be changed; if you spot a problem, contact us immediately and we'll stop it if we still can. What happens after that is covered in Returns & Refunds.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are fixed at the moment you check out — a later price change never affects an order already placed. Applicable federal and provincial taxes are calculated from your shipping address and shown before you pay.

If a price is listed wrongly because of an obvious error, we'll contact you before producing the order and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Production and delivery

Most orders are in the shop for 2–4 business daysbefore they ship. That's production time, not delivery time, and it's an estimate rather than a guarantee — see Shipping for how delivery works and when risk passes to you.

Colour and materials

Screens emit light and printed vinyl reflects it, so an exact on-screen colour match isn't something any printer can promise. We match as closely as large-format printing allows. If a specific colour is critical — a brand colour you have a reference for — tell us before you order and we'll work to it.

What we're liable for

If we get your order wrong, we reprint it or refund it. That is the remedy, and for almost every problem it's the one you actually want.

Beyond that, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed event, lost sales, or the cost of something you booked around the banner arriving. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

The site itself

We work to keep the editor and the site available, but we don't guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Save your work as you go. We keep backups, but your designs are ultimately your files.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top tells you which that is.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. This doesn't take away consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

Getting in touch

Questions about any of this go to info@mavarostudios.com, or use the contact page. Mavaro would much rather sort something out over the phone than have you reading this page in the first place.
